Tom L. PiersonTom is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of TAS Energy, a leading green energy provider of high-efficiency, modular energy solutions serving the global Power, Renewable Energy, Mission Critical and Industrial Cooling industries. Tom has been active in the Power and Industrial Cooling business for over 30 years. Tom began his early career at Trane where he specialized in Process Cooling as General Manager of the Industrial Division in Houston. He later began applying process cooling technologies to Power Plants and completed the first Gas Turbine Inlet Cooling project in 1987. Tom later founded TAS Energy to provide a completely factory engineered and prefabricated chilled water plant with guaranteed performance and improved efficiency similar to the innovations previously achieved in the power industry with the evolution of packaged gas turbine plants. Tom has recently worked on expanding this modular concept to utilize waste heat from industrial processes, gas turbines & engines, geothermal and solar thermal heat for the production of clean emissions-free power through the development of TAS’ patented Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) modular power plants. Tom received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He is a member of ASHRAE, ASME, and U.S. Green Building Council, is a founder and past Chairman of the Turbine Inlet Cooling Association (TICA), and has been a Board member of the International District Energy Association (IDEA) and the U.S. Clean Heat & Power Association (USCHPA) and was recently named Renewable Energy Innovator of the Year for 2011 by the Association of Energy Engineers. Mr. Pierson holds (8) U.S. Patents related to chilled water plant designs, Turbine Inlet Cooling, Integrated Energy Systems, and ORC cycles and he remains active in the corporate development of new technologies related to renewable energy, modular utilities, systems optimization, and performance measurement & verification. |

Craig M. HurlbertCraig is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TAS Energy, a leading global provider of high efficiency and modular cooling and energy systems for the commercial, industrial and power generation markets. Mr. Hurlbert was named to his current position in April 2008 and prior to this role served as President since joining the company in 2001.Mr. Hurlbert joined TAS from Pratt & Whitney Power Systems (PWPS) where he served as President and General Manager of the business unit P2 Energy. Prior to PWPS, he served as President and CEO of the PIC Energy Group. Mr. Hurlbert’s energy industry experience includes serving as Director of International Business Development for Stewart & Stevenson (S&S), the world’s largest third party operator of Power Plants. S&S was acquired by General Electric and Mr. Hurlbert was named General Manager of Global Sales for GE's Contractual Services business leading the GE/S&S integrated service provider from $750 million in backlog at inception to $7 billion in backlog in 24 months. He joined the energy industry in 1990 in a position with North American Energy Services (NAES) a leading operations and maintenance company where he led sales in the Latin and South American markets. Prior to NAES Mr. Hurlbert served as a Valuation Manager in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group for the Geneva Companies and prior to Geneva he worked for the Ford Motor Company in their financial management program. Mr. Hurlbert has a BS degree from San Diego State and an MBA from the University of California – Long Beach. Mr. Hurlbert is the past President and current Chairman of the Turbine Inlet Cooling Association. He was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2009 Award Winner in the Houston and Gulf Coast Area and inducted into the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization. |

Mike BradyMike is President of TAS Energy, a leading global provider of high efficiency and modular cooling and energy systems for the commercial, industrial and power generation markets. TAS designs, manufacturers, installs and services its highly engineered systems with installations in North and South America, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia. Mr. Brady joined TAS in February 2006 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President in September 2006.Prior to joining TAS, he was Director, Business Strategy for Home Depot. Mr. Brady’s professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Risk Management as well as Vice President of Sales for Pratt & Whitney Power Systems (PWPS) in addition to 15 years of GE experience in their GE Lighting, GE Aircraft Engines, GE Appliances and GE Power Systems divisions. Mr. Brady has a BS in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Xavier University. |

Gary HilbergGary is Executive Vice President of TAS Energy, a leading global provider of high efficiency and modular cooling and energy systems for the commercial, industrial and power generation markets. Mr. Hilberg joined TAS in August 2002 and is responsible for TAS’ heat recovery, industrial and commercial business units. He has profit and loss responsibility for turbine inlet chilling serving the power generation industry; for cooling, heating and on-site power systems serving the commercial market; heat recovery and geothermal energy systems; and for industrial process cooling and on-site power systems serving the industrial market. Prior to joining TAS, Mr. Hilberg served as Vice President of Marketing and later Aftermarket Sales for Pratt & Whitney Power Systems (PWPS). Prior to PWPS, Mr. Hilberg served as Commercial Leader, Asia for GE Energy Services and Manager of Technical Services for North American Energy Services. He began his professional career with the United States Navy, serving on nuclear submarines for seven years. Mr. Hilberg has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Hilberg is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California. Doug BacklundDoug is the Vice President of Engineering of TAS Energy, a leading global provider of high efficiency and modular cooling and energy systems for the commercial, industrial and power generation markets. Mr. Backlund joined the company in July 2001 and brings to TAS over twenty years experience in the design and construction of packaged industrial systems. He has responsibility for TAS engineering functions including Project Engineering, Drafting & Design, Product Development and R&D.Prior to joining TAS, Mr. Backlund served in progressive roles with a Houston based packager of industrial rotating equipment systems supporting various industries worldwide. During this time his responsibilities included ASME Code Vessel / Pipe Designer, Project Engineer, Project Manager and Engineering Manager. Mr. Backlund began his career with a manufacturer and packager of positive displacement blowers and vacuum systems, as Applications / Sales Engineer. Mr. Backlund has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri with an MBA from the University of Houston. |

Mark BennettMark is the Vice President of Operations at TAS Energy. Mr. Bennett joined TAS in September 2009 and is responsible for supply chain management, manufacturing, quality and safety. Mr. Bennett brings with him a wealth of experience in project related businesses with over 25 years of experience in design engineering, engineering management, project management, operations management, and P&L leadership. Prior to joining TAS, Mr. Bennett held various senior management positions with Siemens Energy & Automation, Infrastructure Logistics Division from 1998 to 2009, including project management, operations management, and P&L leadership. Mr. Bennett earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). |

Steve HooperSteve is the Vice President of Human Resources (HR) at TAS Energy. Mr. Hooper joined TAS Energy in May 2011 and is responsible for people and process solutions. Mr. Hooper brings with him a blend of large and small, international and domestic, turnaround and high performance experience. Prior to TAS Energy, he was the Vice President of HR for Terex Corporation, a $6B global manufacturer which progressed from the brink of bankruptcy to #3 in the construction equipment industry. He also had similar turnaround manufacturing experience with Case Europe as an expatriate and JCB . After Terex he picked up retail experience at the Home Depot supporting eight primary business units and 30,000 employees. He began his professional career with the U.S. Army as an Intelligence / Counterintelligence Officer and Change Leader. Mr. Hooper has a Master of Arts degree in HR Management from Pepperdine, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed Columbia University’s Advanced HR / OD Executive Program. |

Russell ThompsonRussell is the Vice President, Industrial Business. Mr. Thompson joined TAS Energy in November of 2008 after having spent the previous 15 years with GE Energy. Russell has an extensive background in the power industry having served in many technical and commercial leadership positions during his career. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1994, Russell began his career as a project engineer with the gas turbine division of Stewart & Stevenson in Houston, Texas. While with Stewart & Stevenson he worked as an Applications Engineer and ultimately as a Sales Engineer in the gas turbine compressor arena until GE acquired the gas turbine division of Stewart & Stevenson in 1998. After the acquisition Russell worked as a Project Manager and in early 2000 he was chosen to lead a Supply Chain team instrumental in the ramp up of the GE Energy Aero Houston facility during the North American power “bubble”. In early 2000, Mr. Thompson was promoted to an expat assignment in Budapest, Hungary tasked with creating a project management organization for a Greenfield production facility. Upon returning to the states in 2002 Russell worked in various leadership positions in the Sales and Commercial Operations organizations of GE Energy’s Aero Energy division. Mr. Thompson has developed relationships across the global power industry having traveled to over 26 countries outside of the United States in support of power projects. He has lead commercial operations teams having closed over 2 Billion USD in contracts for new turbine equipment and services. He has an extensive understanding of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market having participated in multiple contract negotiations for “turnkey” construction projects. |

John RudolphJohn is the Vice President of Project Execution at TAS. Mr. Rudolph joined TAS in September 2010 and is responsible for project management, field service, parts sales, warranty and customer service. Mr. Rudolph has over 20 years of global service and sales experience with companies such as Ingersoll Rand and GE. Mr. Rudolph began his career in 1989 with GE Aircraft Engines as a field engineer and led Global Field Service leader for Aeroderivatives by 2000 after being regional manager in both Asia and Europe. During this time John led in combining the field service groups of Kvearner, TSSI, Stewart & Stevenson and GE M&I into one global P&L with combined resources. Mr. Rudolph then went on to Ingersoll Rand where he was Director of Services for the America’s after running the Centac sales and service group in North America. In these roles Mr. Rudolph was responsible for marketing, sales, service, parts, project management, customer service and field coordination. In 2008 Mr. Rudolph was awarded Ingersoll Rand’s Chairman’s award for dramatic growth for his leadership in the development of “PackageCare” contracts that led to being the global service driver. Mr. Rudolph earned a BS degree from Purdue University at W. Lafayette, IN. and was a Blackbelt at GE. |

Matthew HarveyMatthew is the Director of Engineering Operations for TAS Energy. Mr. Harvey joined TAS Energy in January of 2009 as Project Engineering Manager and brings with him over 20 years of varying industrial experience. Mr. Harvey is responsible for TAS Energy’s core engineering departments including Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, Project Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Design and Drafting, and Document Management. Mr. Harvey started his industrial career in operations while working for a hazardous waste reclamation and fuel blending site in East Texas. From there Mr. Harvey spent the next 10 years working for a large specialty chemical manufacture in East Texas where his responsibilities ranged from research and development to plant operations. Mr. Harvey later joined one of the nation’s largest providers of HVAC controls systems as a design engineer in their Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) office. As a lead design engineer Mr. Harvey was responsible for the layout and design of HVAC control and security systems for several large projects ranging from college campuses to major sports arenas in the DFW metroplex. Mr. Harvey’s career continued in the DFW area where he worked as Senior Controls Engineer for a packaged pumping system manufacture. While there, he gained increased responsibilities ranging from electrical engineering, plant operations and eventually became the Engineering and Design Manager. Mr. Harvey then accepted a role in Houston, Texas as the Engineering Manager for the largest heat tracing EPC provider in the nation. While there Mr. Harvey was responsible for project engineering, design drafting and document management. Mr. Harvey holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Tyler and a Masters of Business Administration from LeTourneau University. |

Steve HummelSteve is the Director, Renewable Solutions Business. Mr. Hummel joined Turbine Air Systems, Ltd in November of 2009 after having spent the previous 20 years with GE Energy and GE Aviation. Mr. Hummel’s professional background includes an extensive experience in the power industry having served in many technical, commercial, and sales leadership positions during his career. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1988, Mr. Hummel began his career as a production engineer with GE’s aircraft engine business in Cincinnati, OH where he held numerous positions in manufacturing, services, quality, and customer service prior to moving to GE Energy in Atlanta, GA. While with GE Energy, Mr. Hummel served as a Commercial Director, Commercial Leader, and Sales Leader in energy services with a focus on originating strategic, long-term service contracts. Mr. Hummel has an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an EJD degree from Concord Law School. |

Xavier FarringtonXavier is the Managing Director, TAS Middle East. Mr. Farrington is based in Dubai and joined TAS in May 2007 as the Commercial Manager for the Middle East business and was promoted to Managing Director in October 2008. Prior to joining TAS he was the Director of Projects for the Jumeirah Hospitality Group responsible for the project management of capital works within the hotel portfolio. Originally from England, Mr. Farrington has been working in the Middle East for 15 years with experience in Jordan, Oman and the UAE. He has worked with Tarmac Construction involved with building and civil contracts in the Middle East and UK. Mr. Farrington has a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics from the University of Salford and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. |

Loyd GuillotLoyd is the Director of Modular Data Centers for TAS Energy. Mr. Guillot joined TAS Energy in March of 2005 as Design Manager, supporting all businesses within TAS Energy, and brings with him over 15 years of varying mechanical design and management experience. Mr. Guillot is responsible for the Modular Data Center’s business growth by managing sales and product development to target customers’ needs and identifying additional market opportunities for the business. Mr. Guillot started his career in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry designing and manufacturing skid-mounted industrial equipment in Houston, Texas. From there, Mr. Guillot spent the next five years managing a fabrication and manufacturing facility for an oilfield equipment supply company. He then later returned to the petrochemical plants industry and held various roles including managing design teams. |
